Giveaway: Probability Pouch! Winner Announced!!

Winner Announced...

The winner is Phyllis! Congratulations! Thank you to all who entered.

 The drawing is now closed.

*****

I made an extra "Probability Pouch" for a blog giveaway. Over time, I'll be posting ideas to use with the Probability Pouch. You can make your own and/or enter to win one here.

Enter to Win:

Prize (1): one "Probability Pouch" made by me, stuffed in an envelope and sent to you by regular mail. **Sorry, but U.S. shipping only.**

Contest Details:
Begins today and continues through October 31st. Contest ends at midnight on the 31st and a winner will be announced on November 1st after the breakfast dishes are cleaned up and I've put my jammies away. [Some days that's easier than others!] I will choose a winner at random using Random.org.  **U.S. shipping only.**

How to enter:
Lots of ways! You may choose as many as you like from the following, leaving a comment being mandatory (unless you think I have superpowers and can figure out your contact info by osmosis.)

#1: Leave a comment here with a mention of why you'd like to win.

#2: Become a follower of my blog. Leave me a comment telling me that you are already a follower or that you've just joined. It'll give me a serious ego boost.

#3: Tell your friends about the giveaway on Facebook, Twitter, or a listserve/forum. Leave a comment saying what you did, with a link if possible.

#4: Blog about this giveaway and link back to this page. Post a link to your blog entry.

Please make sure that I have a way to contact you...such as janedoe at gmail dot com. If I don't hear back from a real person within 24 hours, I'll draw again.

Good luck! I wonder what your PROBABILITY is of winning???

  1. I'm not in the US so I can't enter in the giveaway, but don't worry, I can understand. I once did a giveaway too and I could also only send to Spain only.
I just wanted to let you know I'm a follower anyway and I love the probability Pouch. I wish I had some fabric like that!!!
I have a probability game post to set up but I just don't seem to find the time to do it......
Good luck with the giveaway and I'll keep on following you anyway ;)

  4. What a cool project! I'd love to win one.
    (my email)

What kind of game tokens did you use with it, and how did you play your probability game? I'm always looking for new math game ideas! If you posted about it, I must have missed that one. (And I do follow your blog, or at least I subscribe to it, if that's the same thing.)

  5. @Denise...some lesson ideas are forthcoming. I've often done probability stuff with paper bags (repeated draws) and am sick of them falling apart. I just use the little plastic game tokens usually. Or plastic tile.

  11. I would love to win your probability pouch. As much as I like it, I am not that good with creating similar projects and I am trying to minimize my frustration level. Also I LOVE the print! sandid@comcast.net

  16. Howdy! I could probably sew this bag, but winning it would be even better because I don't often get around to sewing. I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

  20. I'm a new follower--just found you a few weeks ago and have been checking in periodically. We have been homeschooling for 7 years (yikes!!) and your site has really inspired me to be more creative, especially with math. I appreciate all the great ideas and references to books, games and materials. Thanks for your gifts--even if I don't win, I've won!
